Nafisa

community worker and growing creative

Raised and rooted in Scarborough, Nafisa is a community worker and growing creative!

They are most passionate about reproductive and disability justice. As a non-binary, neurodivergent, Bengali settler, Nafisa is interested in reflecting on how those facets of their identity inform how they show up in the world. They enjoy experimenting with different creative mediums to meaningfully connect with their histories, current contexts and mental health.

Currently, Nafisa is engaged in art journaling and commonplacing where they can record their lived experiences, document memories, archive ephemera, and navigate their feelings in creative, playful and accessible ways!
